    International Private Bank


    Client Situation:


    Pushing towards a seamless client trading offering, the bank invested into the development of an end-to-end (e2e) web-based structured products platform. Full transparency, low latency and live reporting capabilities paired with the ability to enter orders ‘on the go’ conclude the main aspects of the engagement. The ability to offer the client base an attractive product universe with over 1.5 mio. underlying’s at one’s fingertips is of great appeal for the next generation of asset managers and private investors.


    Our Contribution:


    After conducting the pre-study, defining trading & client requirements and guiding the vendor selection process a feasibility study rendering the architectural blueprint was drafted. This subsequently led to a thorough analysis of legal requirements followed by merging the structured products trading platform to the bank’s security framework. Our Agile (SAFe) project setup allowed to swiftly prioritise and focus on the business and customer needs, creating new platform capabilities in a 2-week release cycle.

  • GLOBAL PRICING TRANSFORMATION

    International Private Bank

    Client Situation:

    The bank invested into advanced price steering capabilities by establishing transparency on pricing enforcement across products and services, defining target pricing ranges through benchmarking measures and enabling a real-time pricing impact simulation across a holistic client relationship.

    Our Contribution:

    We structured the global programme from initiation, while transitioning into an agile delivery methodology. Several key objectives were addressed from a) implementing smart & digital pricing capabilities, b) conducting global re-pricing and upselling initiatives and c) establishing a global pricing steering governance from the executive committee, through global and local pricing committees to functional teams. The programme further envisaged a booking-center and business line phased approach, by initially focusing on Switzerland & Asia, followed by Europe and additional business lines.

  • NEW DIGITAL BANK

    International Private Bank

    Client Situation:

    Incumbent Swiss private bank establishing new digital banking platform with focus on mass affluent and HNW clients under newly established brand. Green field approach defining offering and servicing landscape, pilot markets and subsequent business case for European client coverage model.

    Our Contribution:

    Definition of strategic offering (including basic banking services such as cards/accounts/payments, sophisticated robo-advisory, personal advice in hybrid coverage model, special investment opportunities PE/ HF & Impact Investments). Establishing the house of offering in line with bank’s strategic market positioning.

    Design of end-to-end client user journeys from first platform impression, to digital onboarding to continuous client servicing throughout the provided services. Coverage of legal and regulatory requirements to serve Swiss and European clients out of Switzerland.

  • AGILE TRANSFORMATION BY SAFe

    Our client wishes to establish a thriving Agile SAFe Framework across the organisation. In particular a dedicated setup for the Operational Value Streams paired with divisional OKR goals will accelerate delivery and strictly focus on business value.

    Supporting the client in the complete overhaul of its organisation and business activities in the course of its expansion desires, reviewing and redrafting the regulatory licensing requirements as stipulated by FINMA in two phases:

    Our regulatory experts provided project and change management capabilities by leading and overseeing the implementation of several regulatory initiatives for a multi-year divisional change program across the bank’s European locations and all Swiss branches.
